[UPDATE] ‘You’re My Pet’ Exhibition to be Held in Japan

The film You’re My Pet will be the subject of an exhibition before the film’s actual premiere in Japan.

The You’re My Pet exhibition will be held from January 20 in Tokyo. Just what will they be displaying, you ask? Special videos of the film along with clothing and props used by the film’s leads Kim Ha Neul and, of course, Jang Keun Suk.

The film is gathering interest on whether it’ll manage to be a success in Japan, although it drooped lower than expectations in Korea.

You’re My Pet’s ticket sales suffered in Korea. According to the Compiled Ticket Computer Network, the film was seen by 543,313 moviegoers, a disappointing turnout, especially considering the star power of the two leads.

But as the film is armed with Jang Keun Suk, the self-titled Prince of Asia, the film is gathering interest on whether it′ll be able to recoup some of its losses overseas.

Jang will be flying to Japan on January 19 to promote the film through stage events. He plans to meet with moviegoers in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, and he will also be meeting the more general Japanese public through Japanese television.
