Jang Geun-seok to attend a fan meeting for "You're My Pet"
Hallyu star Jang Geun-seok will attend a fan meeting for his film "You Pet" on Feb. 11 at Kyocera Dome in Osaka.

The film opened in Japan on Jan. 21 and in just two days of showing reached the sixth spot on the Japanese weekly movie chart.

Jang's co-stars Kim Ha-neul, Yoo Tae-joon, Jeong Yoo-mi and Kang Ha-neul will also attend the event. The fan meet will comprise of dancing and singing performances by the stars as well as a talking forum with the fans.
The event will also be broadcast live and shown in Toho Cinemas across Japan.

Ahead of the film's release Jang and Kim spent five nights and six days travelling to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and surrounding parts, holding interviews and promoting their movie.

"You Pet is based on the Japanese manga "Kimi wa Pet" ("Tramps Like Us", 2000-05) by Yayoi Ogawa. The story of the movie is about a bizarre relationship between an ambitious career woman and a young homeless man, whose animal-like charm leads her to adopt him as a pet.

Released in Korea in November, the movie was directed by Kim Byeong-gon, who was involved in producing previous romantic comedy "My boyfriend is type-B" (2005)

Movie ‘You’re a Pet’ starring Jang Keun Suk to hold a fan meeting in Japan

You’re a Pet, a movie starring Jang Keun Suk, is to hold a fan meeting in Japan.
Along with Gang, who is dubbed “Asia’s prince,” Kim Ha Neul, Lyu Tae Joon, Jung Yoo Mi, and others will attend the event.

It is to be held at the Kyocera Dome, in Osaka, on February 11, and the event will be broadcast all over the Japan.

You’re a Pet is a romantic comedy telling a story about a career woman, who is inept at building a romantic relationship, and a good-looking guy, a would-be dancer.

The movie, which released on May 21, in Japan, ranked 5 on the Box Office.
At this fan meeting, all the lead role actors will gather and spend time with fans.

“You’re My Pet” continues promotions in Japan with a fan meeting"

After its release in November last year, the movie “You’re My Pet” continues its promotion in Japan, spearheaded by its leads Jang Geunseuk and Kim Haneul.

Aside from the movie release, the main stars are continuing their promotions for the movie as they are set to hold a “You’re My Pet” fan meeting this month. Jang Geunsuk and Kim Haneul will be meeting their fans at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on February 11. The meeting will be aired live in more than forty movie theatres across Japan. Tickets were released on February 2 for 3,000 Yen.

“You’re My Pet” is the Korean adaptation based on the Japanese manga series of the same title. It was released in South Korea in November last year and was further sold to nine other countries across Asia.
